Frequently Asked Questions

Our end of tenancy cleaning service covers much of  London. Take a look at our Service Area page. If your area isn’t listed get in touch, we most likely cover your area

At the end of your tenancy there will usually be a check out inspection carried out by an independent inventory clerk. As long as you have fully moved out of the property and all personal belongings, food, toiletries and rubbish etc have been removed prior to our arrival we guarantee the clean to satisfy the check out inspection. So if the clerk raises any cleaning issues on the report simply let us know and we will return promptly and free of charge to rectify them.

Note – we can only offer the guarantee if you have fully moved out and won’t be staying in the property after the clean has taken place.

The clean should take place after you’ve fully moved out and won’t be staying in the property anymore.

If you are having furniture removed, filling holes in walls or carrying out any other works in the property this all should be completed prior to the clean.

Depending on the size of the property we usually come as a team of three to five cleaners. On average a one bedroom flat can take our team between 2-3 hours, whereas a 4-5 bedroom house might take 6-8 hours. If timing is tight between you moving out and the check out inspection let us know, we can usually accommodate this.

If you have moved any furniture around during your tenancy this should be put back into its original positions as per the check in report. All rubbish, food and toiletries should be disposed of. If possible, the freezer should be defrosted leading up to the move out date and keys for any window or door locks should be left out

We often get asked this so I assume that some other companies don’t include oven cleaning as standard. The answer is yes, oven, hob and extractor hood cleaning are included as standard on all end of tenancy cleans

Yes, we bring all of our own cleaning products and equipment

In general we aren’t able to remove and dispose of rubbish. In certain circumstances we may be able to take two or three bags away if agreed beforehand. We usually advise that in the weeks leading up to your move out day that you start going through the property and getting rid of excess rubbish or junk week by week. You’d be amazed at how often we arrive at a property to see twenty or thirty bins bags full of rubbish stacked outside! If there’s too much left out at once the bin men usually won’t take it.

If you can defrost the freezer ahead of the clean then yes please do so. A heavily iced up freezer compartment can take hours to defrost and it isn’t always possible to do within the time it takes to carry out an end of tenancy clean.

As standard we clean the interiors of the windows. However if you do need the exteriors cleaned we can arrange this. Double check with your agent to see if you do need the exteriors cleaned. It varies from agent to agent and often depends on whether they were cleaned externally when you moved in.

Yes, we can professionally steam clean your carpets, curtains, upholstery and mattresses. As a general rule we find that you will almost always be required to have the carpets steam cleaned for check out. Requirements for upholstery, curtains and mattresses can vary so it’s always best to check with your agent.

No, most people usually let us in and then leave us to carry out the clean, we can close up when we’re finished. If you’d like to come back at the end to see the results we can call 30 minutes before the end of the job.
